The Last Romeo

“You’re not exactly the number one choice for a bride, you know?”

A chaebol chairman in his 60s, his wife, and his young female secretary in her 20s were all shot and killed in the same place at the same time.

It was a crime of passion committed by the secretary, who had been the chairman’s mistress.

“Even when you die, you have to make such a mess of it.”

The chairman was a complete idiot who cheated on his wife with a woman young enough to be his daughter and ended up taking his wife with him to the afterlife.

His son, Junhyuk, happens to meet Han Iseol, the younger sister of the murderer…

“Is she crazy?”

For the first time in his life, he met a woman he was attracted to, and of all women, she had to be this troublesome.

He wanted to touch her. He wanted to get tangled up with her. If possible, he wanted it to get messy.

He had no intention of having a tragic love like Romeo and Juliet with the daughter of the family who killed his parents.

He would simply date her casually while hiding his identity, then break up and be done with it. That was all he wanted from the woman in front of him.

But then—

“I’m not in a position to date anyone right now. I’m sorry.”

She rejected him?

Come on. It wasn’t like her situation was going to get better on its own. Some things could be fixed with effort, and some couldn’t.

There was no other choice.

Since he had the means, he would just have to make Han Iseol’s situation better himself.

“Well, I guess that’s only fair.”

After all, he would be the one deciding how it ended.
