Synopsis

“Please become my future father-in-law!”

Sertisha, an otter beastkin who inherited her family at the age of six, makes a deal with Grand Duke Hikaros, known as the King of the West, to survive the threats posed by her collateral relatives.

“I’ll find your missing son for you. In exchange, please become my future father-in-law!”

And so began the relationship between a contractual future father-in-law and his daughter-in-law.

But then…

“I heard that a father-in-law is supposed to dote on his daughter-in-law.”

Her future father-in-law starts showering her with top-grade jewels, calling them mere pebbles.

And even the disguised son, who initially went out of his way to avoid her, starts following her around everywhere.

“Tisha, would you rather go pick up pebbles with your future brother-in-law instead of your future father-in-law?”

Then, after she enrolls in the Beastkin Academy…

“Moo!”

Candidate No. 1: A shameless owl who keeps flying through her dormitory window at every opportunity.

“Shut up. Go away.”

Candidate No. 2: A foul-tempered bear with an obsessive streak.

“Tishaaa! I’ll give you this.”

Candidate No. 3: An innocent-looking tiger who shyly offers her a dead rabbit.

“Tisha… pet me.”

Candidate No. 4: A cunning orca who subtly makes advances while wearing an innocent expression.

And on top of that, even a dragon that awakens from a legendary white pearl insists that she take responsibility for it.
