I Received the Heavenly Demon Who Will Kill Me

Synopsis

On the day I ordered Cheonma, a vegetable and medicinal herb, the man who arrived at my herbal medicine shop was empty-handed.

The moment I transmigrated into a martial arts novel, I was killed by the mastermind behind everything. I suppose it was because the body I had possessed belonged to a White Snake, a legendary elixir.

And then, I immediately regressed.

What a strange life I was living.

Still, I decided to inherit my parents’ herbal medicine shop and live a quiet, peaceful life. But then…

“You ordered Cheonma?”

On the day I ordered Cheonma, a vegetable and medicinal herb, the man who arrived at my shop was empty-handed.

“I ordered medicinal herbs, though?”

“Since you said Cheonma, I somehow thought you were referring to me… Was I a vegetable in my previous life?”

I thought I had seen him somewhere before. As it turned out, this man was none other than Sima Jin—the man destined to become the Heavenly Demon of this era, and the very person who had killed me.

I ordered Cheonma to use as a medicinal herb, so why on earth did the actual Heavenly Demon show up instead?

“I don’t remember anything. I must have been a vegetable that transformed into a human.”

Somehow, I ended up taking the amnesiac mastermind as my disciple, keeping him close so I could keep an eye on him.

“I remember everything now.”

“What did you say, Cheondol?”

“I’m not Cheondol, Master. My name is Sima Jin.”

One day, Cheondol—the alias he had been using—and Sima Jin, his real name, regained all his memories.

I thought my only fate now was to meet a gruesome end, but then…

“Come with me to the main headquarters. When I conquer the world, I want you by my side, Master.”

Sima Jin kidnapped me and took me to the headquarters of the Demonic Cult.
