Don’t Trust the Lying Duke!

“Am I going to become your mistress from now on?”

A new man named Robert arrives in the quiet countryside village of Manolie. There are all kinds of rumors about the mysterious gentleman who came from the capital, Laurent, but no one actually knows who he is.

Despite all the rumors surrounding him, the man shows special kindness only to Sasha.

“If you want, you can come visit me again.”

“Whenever I want? Then what can I do for you in return?”

“I don’t need money. But if you really feel uncomfortable, paint me a picture that I can hang on the wall.”

With Robert’s permission, Sasha begins visiting his mansion freely and painting there.

Meanwhile, Duke Guillen, a famous figure in Laurent’s high society and the richest man in Brissen, initially approaches Sasha out of simple curiosity. However, he gradually begins to feel something different toward her.

It was close to lust, but there was also a confusing desire that couldn’t be explained by that alone.

Robert had even thought that he was in a rather good mood that morning. At least, until Sasha said those words.

“So that I don’t mistake you for someone I’m close to. Please.”

“It sounds like you’re saying I’ve been bothering you.”

Robert’s voice suddenly dropped.

“Tell me, Sasha. What exactly have I done to make you so confused?”
