    Chapter 05

A slick tongue rummaged through her tender mouth. Sucking her tongue, tracing her even teeth, it stimulated Tilda relentlessly.

As expected, she shouldn’t have trusted this man…!

Tilda pushed against the man’s shoulders and pounded his solid chest, but the profane tongue exploring her mouth didn’t stop.

Yet, apart from her revulsion, there was definitely something different. Whether because of her startled emotions or the lewd tongue’s movements, the pain had slightly lessened.

Perhaps this was the man’s trick all along. He must have clearly intended to kiss her from the start to amplify her pain.

She tried to push his tongue away and bite his lips to resist, but instead she seemed to have stimulated him further—his breathing grew increasingly ragged.

Soon, the man’s large hand parted Tilda’s wet clothes and languidly rubbed her concave belly.

Tilda twisted her body to avoid his touch, but the man wouldn’t allow it. He persistently stroked her belly and waist, and smoothed her skin along her spine.

Unlike his hasty and rough kisses, his touch felt gentle and affectionate, making Tilda think he was a strange person.

…If his goal had been to violate her, he wouldn’t need to go to such lengths.

For a moment, she felt calluses on the fingers stroking her shoulder blades. The man’s hands touching her skin felt long and elegant in shape, but his palms were rough.

“How about it? Will you admit now that I was right?”

The man asked in a low voice, licking and nibbling her earlobe.

“You’ve already forgotten all about the pain.”

At his amused voice, Tilda’s face flushed.

As he said, the pain had faded, and without realizing it, she had been letting out fevered breaths. Aside from the pain the man had given her, the heat that had been boiling over as if to consume her entire body was subsiding.

That made it impossible to dismiss it as just the man’s filthy scheme.

Who on earth was this man…?

In fact, his voice had felt familiar for a while now, and there was a face she pictured in her mind.

    ‘Surely not…’

    Her brief speculation didn’t continue.

“Since I gave you a moment’s rest, you’re thinking of other things.”

His hand, which had been stroking her shoulder blades, moved downward.

Startled, Tilda, who had let her guard down, jolted her body.

Not there. That was a place she could never give to a man whose face she didn’t even know.

As if to disarm Tilda’s mind once again, the man licked her collarbone with the tip of his tongue and traced it meticulously downward.

When his breath touched her chest, Tilda forcefully pushed his face away.

    “Stop…!”

For the first time, her voice came out properly.

The voice that had been rough and wouldn’t come out properly had finally come out as her own.

    The man asked teasingly.

“If I stop, it will hurt again, you know?”

    “…I’d rather scream in pain.”

“I’d rather see you panting in pleasure than screaming in pain.”

    Tilda bit her lips hard.

She had never heard such obscene words in her entire life.

Having grown up in a sacred house, she had always been close to theology and had strived to emulate the goddess’s purity as her guiding principle.

Unaccustomed to direct and primal conversation, Tilda felt heat pooling deep in her belly.

The pain had completely disappeared by now.

Tilda muttered as if cursing him.

“…You’re insane. Going into heat with a patient who can’t even see. You’ve clearly contracted a madness obsessed with lust.”

“If I were simply obsessed with lust, I wouldn’t mind hearing such words from you.”

Saying that, the man touched Tilda’s depths. Tilda gripped the blanket.

The heat that had already pooled in her belly didn’t reject the man’s touch.

It was something that would make the Goddess Valinea lament.

    “This should be enough.”

Though Tilda couldn’t see, she understood what the man was preparing.

Even knowing this was her last chance to resist, she couldn’t bring herself to refuse, perhaps because of the heat that was making her mind go hazy.

Rather, she wanted the man to fill this emptiness. She wanted the man to quell this heat.

Tilda was surprised by her own desire.

Had she always been a woman so swayed by desire?

Whether it was because her vision had gone dark, making her focus on the stimulation, or because the intense pain had somehow warped her, she had never burned this hot even when she was with Windsor. He had even complained that she was frigid.

Tilda herself had thought so too. Sex was merely an act to maintain the marital relationship—nothing more, nothing less.

    But why, with this man…?

Eventually, as the man tried to enter her, Tilda let out a suppressed moan.

    “Ugh…”

“…Relax. That way it will hurt less.”

As if being considerate of Tilda, the man showered her entire body with small kisses while slowly entering her.

    “Ugh…”

    The man groaned.

For the first time, Tilda wondered what kind of face he was making.

    Haah.

Once he was fully inside, the man let out a deep sigh he had been holding back.

“Stay as still as you can. That way you’ll enjoy it too.”

What kind of talk is that…!

Before she could voice her complaint, the man moved his lower body.

As a burning pain flared up below, Tilda cursed the man once again in her mind.

Her body was already in tatters—there was no way it wouldn’t hurt.

But just as she thought that, something flashed through the pain and stimulated her spine.

Tilda grabbed the man’s forearm tightly. The man, seeming to notice her condition, relentlessly targeted the same spot.

Eventually, pleasure overcame the pain. Sparks burst ceaselessly in her mind.

Overwhelmed by the surging pleasure, Tilda froze, unable to adapt.

    “Breathe.”

As Tilda only trembled her eyelashes, the man stopped his movements and commanded.

Hoo. Only then did Tilda let out a deep breath.

Then the man moved his erratic hips again. Tilda wrapped her arms around the man’s neck, clinging to him as if hanging on, just as she had when driven by pain.

The man kissed every part of Tilda’s face. They were small but delicate kisses, like a bird pecking with its beak.

    ‘…’

Tilda felt she might understand why her body burned so intensely at this man’s touch.

Affection seeped from his touch and his lips.

It was an emotion she hadn’t received in her entire life since her mother died.

After her mother’s death, her father had distanced himself from her, and Windsor had always blamed her.

That was why she reacted so strongly to the affection she received from this stranger whose face she didn’t even know.

    It was pathetic and miserable.

Tilda pressed her lips tightly together to suppress the self-loathing she felt.

Unaware of Tilda’s state, the man kissed her eyelids and murmured.

“Do you know why the other party blinded you?”

Tilda didn’t answer. It was hard enough just not showing her gloomy feelings right now.

“Because your eyes shine especially brighter.”

That was something she hadn’t expected.

At the man’s words, Tilda finally shed a third wave of tears.

For the first time, emotional comfort felt greater than physical pleasure.

At the same time, a questioning sorrow burst forth.

If a man who barely knew her could so easily melt her frozen heart, why couldn’t Windsor, her own husband, do the same?

Why had her mother, who understood and loved her, left her side so early?

Why had her father never once told her in his entire life that her mother’s death wasn’t her fault?

    ‘And why…’

Why did I only learn everything now?

As the sorrow and grief she had buried behind a facade of numbness finally exploded, Tilda sobbed, her chest heaving.

Like a child whose candy had been taken away, bitterly and sorrowfully.

The man licked away her tears with his tongue, as if they were sweet sugar water.

“I wanted to see you panting in pleasure, not crying.”

Tilda finally stopped crying and retorted.

    “…You’re a pervert.”

“For now, let’s go with that. Well, it’s not entirely wrong.”

    The man admitted lewdly.

At his slick attitude, Tilda found herself picturing the man’s face in the darkness.

She could no longer ignore it.

This familiar voice, the powerful physique she could feel, the way he provoked her—everything was screaming that it was that man.

She just wanted to deny that she had done such things with him.

Considering his status, this was absolutely something that should never have happened.

    “…Will my eyesight really return?”

“Just as your body has already become healthy.”

It was just as he said.

Even without the surging pleasure, her body no longer ached. The pain had completely disappeared, and her fever had subsided.

    It was bizarre.

Her eyesight would return like this too. This was something even divine power couldn’t accomplish.

She felt she knew who this man was, but Tilda was still lost in a maze.

What on earth was his identity?

Just then, the man moved his hips as if to remind her of his presence.

    “Ah!”

A moan escaped while she was off guard.

A faint laugh came from the man. Even without seeing, she now knew what expression he was making.

Tilda no longer tried to push him away.

It wasn’t just that she couldn’t push him away—the water was already spilled.

Tilda surrendered her body, clinging to his neck as if letting herself be carried by the surging waves.

She would accept this lewd man only for today.

Today, she had been served divorce papers by her husband, learned a horrifying truth, and nearly drowned after being thrown into the cold sea.

It was all so surreal that she couldn’t believe it had all happened in a single day.

So she would simply regard tonight as just another daydream.

The man welcomed her clinging, driving into her even more roughly.

The entangled man and woman’s night of ecstasy stretched on endlessly, and they reached their peak again and again. It was only when the woman fell asleep, as if fainting, that the act finally ended.

And when she opened her eyes again—

Tilda could see the dazzling sunlight breaking over her face and the pristine blue sky.
